CITY OF ELSA 4B ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION 2023 DIRECT BUSINESS INCENTIVES ELSA DOWNTOWN BEAUTIFICATION GRANT
Summary
The 4B economic development corporation has allocated funding to encourage businesses along FM 88 and St HWY 107 to invest in beautification and improvements to encourage economic development in our community.
Grant Amount
2 to 1 matching grant program-strictly reimbursement basis (original receipts required) cap of contribution from 4B is up to $5,000.00
Eligible Activities
Included but not limited to:
Landscaping
Signage/billboard
Painting renovation-inside and outside
ADA compliance ramp, restrooms, parking, awnings
Other
Project Location
Businesses within city limits: a long Ruben Hinojosa HWY (FM88) and 107 businesses within city limits
Eligibility Criteria
Projects and work started before approval are not eligible for a grant
Must be current on property taxes,
Must be current on sales taxes,
Must be current on Federal taxes
The project must conform to the City of Elsa Ordinance
The project must be completed within six months of application approval
Must submit before and after photos of the project
Value of Incentive
The 4B economic development corporation will conduct an assessment and recommendation of every individual application. The city council shall determine whether it is in the best interests of the city of Elsa that such an incentive be awarded to the applicant.
