Mornings are about to get a whole lot brighter in Elsa, Texas! Last week, the city welcomed Shipley Do-Nuts to its newest location at 300 E Edinburg Ave. This Valley favorite is now serving up delicious donuts, coffee, and other treats for Elsa residents.
The City of Elsa and the Elsa Economic Development Corporation celebrated the new location with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. This Shipley location marks the second franchise currently operating under owner Mohammad Amed, who continues to invest in the city of Elsa’s growth!
Councilwoman Franches Rocha attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony along with other members of the city of Elsa administration. “We’re very excited about this brand new Shipley that we have today. It’s a ribbon cutting that’s brought our community so much joy,” she said. “Shipley is here it’s something that brings family together.”
Shipley Do-nuts is now open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. “To see the amazing response we got from our community, our citizens for the grand opening, to be here to see the long lines of cars, bring joy to my heart,” said Councilwoman Rocha. “The presence of Shipleys speaks volumes about what is happening in Elsa. It’s a sign of progress.”
