Shovels dug into the earth, marking the groundbreaking of a new establishment – Scooter’s Coffee. Founded in 1998 by Don and Linda Eckles in Bellevue, Nebraska, the brand has stood the test of time with its unwavering commitment to high-quality drinks, swift service, and, most importantly, a heartwarming smile. “Amazing People, Amazing Drinks…Amazingly Fast!®” isn’t just a slogan; it’s the philosophy that Scooter’s Coffee has lived by over the last two decades.

The economic implications of this venture run deep. With Scooter’s Coffee’s inception, Elsa stands to benefit from the resulting sales tax and the creation of 15 new jobs. This is a significant stride in our mission to expand Elsa’s retail base. Recognizing the potential of this enterprise and its alignment with Elsa’s developmental goals, the Elsa EDC extended a land agreement as an incentive, enticing them towards the Pacific Trails Park.
Scooter’s Coffee will enjoy the company of the Veterans Park and the skate park, with the Garden at Pacific Trails adorning the vicinity right off of FM 88, also known as Broadway.
