Elsa, Texas provides neighboring ranching communities with the amenities they are looking for when they need them. Elsa reaches more than 1 million shoppers within a 25-mile radius and draws visitors from nearby ranching communities.
Located at the heart of Hidalgo County, Elsa, Texas was founded and developed by William and Elsa George. The city was incorporated in 1933. Through the course of the years, Elsa has gone from an agriculture and farming community to becoming the hub for retail and business for the Delta.
Our leadership is actively working to develop and expand new businesses and create a retention plan for our existing businesses that are the backbone of our community.
