Lift Elsa Incentive Program Launches to Provide Affordable Loans for Small Businesses
Elsa, Texas — The Elsa Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with LiftFund, is proud to announce the launch of the Lift Elsa Incentive Program, designed to provide local small businesses with access to low-interest loans at rates as low as 2.5%. This initiative aims to foster growth, expansion, and innovation among entrepreneurs in the community.
The program, funded with $50,000, is part of the city’s continued efforts to support economic development and create sustainable job opportunities. The loans will enable qualified small businesses to invest in operations, hire new employees, or improve their facilities without the burden of high-interest payments.
Daniel Rivera, Executive Director of the Elsa Economic Development Corporation, emphasized the importance of this program: “Small businesses in Elsa represent dreams, hard work, and the heart of our community,” said Rivera. “We created this program to ensure those dreams continue to grow and inspire future entrepreneurs.”
Information Session Scheduled
To provide more information on eligibility, application procedures, and benefits, the Elsa EDC and LiftFund will be hosting an info session:
- When: Thursday, February 6, 2025
- Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
- Where: Betuzas Coffee Cafe, Elsa, TX
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with LiftFund representatives, ask questions about the loan process, and network with other local business owners.

This initiative is expected to help at least six local businesses and create or retain a minimum of eight jobs in Elsa. The loans will be available throughout the 2024-2025 fiscal year, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
“We want to give every small business owner in Elsa the opportunity to access affordable capital and thrive,” said Rivera. “This program is part of a broader effort to ensure that our local businesses have the resources they need to succeed.”
